About two thirds of Austria’s total area comprising 84000 km² is covered by parts of the Central Eastern Alps, and Northern and Southern Limestone Alps. This explains why one will find a lot of wonderful different landscapes, caves and mountain lakes that attract divers looking for places apart from the mainstream destinations.
